Online 3-186A Instructions

Federal falconry regulations have changed. On October 8, 2008, the USFWS published a notice of the final falconry regulations in the Federal Register. The comment period ended. The NCFG, NAFA, other clubs, state wildlife officials and individuals made numerous comments and recommendations for changes to be incorporated in the final rules. Those changes have been noted and new State Regulations have been created and have gone into effect on January 1, 2012. Part of the requirements by each state is to have Online Filing of 3-186A's. In order to file your 3-186A's online, you must first register with the Federal system. In co-operation with the USFWS, instructions have been written and can be viewed here. You must register and get a Federal ID first before trying to submit a 3-186A. Please read the instructions carefully before registering and please save your new Federal ID and Password. To view the new NC Falconry Regulations, go to Falconry Regulations in the Menu on the left and then to North Carolina Falclonry Regulations or click here. If you have already registered, click here to go to the USFWS Falconer Login page to file your 3-186A's.
